England has produced several renowned professional football teams from the likes of Manchester United and Chester Football Club. Football Sports fans pay hundreds and thousands of Pounds to watch their ffavoriteteams compete against each other in showdowns. Therefore, it is imperative to know a little bit about a famous football teams that are immensely popular with their fans in and outside their country. Chester F.C is one such team that is a supporter-owned association football club from Chester, England. This organization was established in 2010 following the wrap-up of Chester City F.C.
From there onward it was a success story for the club’s first three seasons just like a fairy tale. They won successive league championships from 2010-2014. Even though Chester F.C. finished its first season in the relegation zone in the Conference Premier (2013–14), moreover, the club earned a reprieve after Hereford United was expelled for financial problems. The club finished 12th in the Conference Premier in the 2014–15 seasons. Just as the Manchester United players are nicknamed “The Reds” the Chester FC players are known as The Blues, The Seals, City, etc., etc. Their jersey home colors are blue and away colors are yellow. Over the years, this football club has blossomed and is now a thriving team. Manchester United primary appeal was because of David Beckham. However, The Blues have had several famous players themselves that can easily stand against Beckham. To keep their endless streak of winnings going, they even have a Chester city former player Association. They are always handy to give advice and support the current team players at every level. In 2014, some of these players also showed up to support their team by painting the corridors of their club to give it a new look. This redecorating operation was led by former Chester goalie Dennis Reeves, who had his own decorating and painting business.
At some point in Chester, forward line was also known for its “Famous Five” a member of whom recently died who Elfed Morris was. Together with his Famous Five forwards these players scored brilliantly in countless league matches. Moreover, presently the team is managed by Steve Burr and their chief rivals are Welsh neighbors Wrexham a similar rivalry that existed with their predecessors. Chester still has an ongoing competition with Cheshire neighbors Macclesfield Town. Moreover, the traditional rivalries with Crewe Alexandra, Shrewsbury Town and Tranmere Rovers are believed to exist still.
The Blues hometown stadium is known as Deva Stadium where most of the magic happens. The 2014-2015 season for Chester started off slow but has since then gradually picked up after a few months lapse and at the turn of the year Chester were in good form playing well and proving themselves once again by a 4–0 win over Lincoln City in January. At present, The Blues seems to be soaring around the Play-Off positions and are set in motion for an unexpected promotion. This would be another highlight for this magnificent team.
